Science beyond the lab

Public science

Sharing perspectives in less formal settings

Some of the most useful scientific conversations happen outside a standard seminar room: in summer schools, interdisciplinary workshops, independent learning communities and public venues. As a science advocate, I am committed to breaking down barriers to education, making knowledge accessible to all, especially those from underrepresented and underprivileged communities. I envision the possibility of an alternative, transformative academia.
