I am an Associate Professor at Imperial College London and a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow , where I lead the great CIRCLE research group and act as the elected AI speaker of Imperial's AI Network. Previously worked with the Geometric Computing Group at Stanford as part of StanfordAILab , and CAMP Group at TU Munich . Asking how intelligent machines should represent structure of the world by day, indulging in music (drums and percussion) and philosophy by night.

Beyond research
I am immersed in drums and percussion, with a particular appreciation for blues, jazz and funk, as well as folk, ethnic and experimental forms of rhythm and music. I occasionally take the stage with Turkish indie-folk musician Zeyn’el Günbek, and play in the CVPR House Band.
